Charity Pub Quiz - Kimbolton
The quiz at Stockonbury Arms was a great success and we raised £256.60. A big thank you to the landlord for hosting the event, to Andrea for organising it, the generous raffle prizes and to everybody who came and supported the event. We hope to hold another quiz in the spring.
7 November 2012 - Take a break – coffee and cake
Emporium Tea Shop, Drapers Lane, Leominster at 10am
Come along to our ‘Take a Break’ event where you can relax with a cup of coffee or tea along with a delicious slice of homemade cake. All proceeds will go to the Hereford & Worcester Animal Rescue.
Our grateful thanks to Caroline of The Emporium and everybody who organised and came to this great event. To date, we raised £220.

16 September 2012 - HWAR Annual Dog Show - Brockhampton Estate
It was a great day, the sun shone, visitors far exceeded our expectations and a wonderful time was had by all.
Our grateful thanks to National Trust for allowing us hold our show at this wonderful venue, Paws for Thought Dog Display Team for their fantastic performance, Brigit for her brilliant photos (can be viewed on the HWAR forum) and volunteers for their hard work in making the day such a success.
We raised a fantastic £1425.00!!!
27 August 2012 - Ledbury Carnival Dog Show in aid of HWAR
Despite the weather forecast, it stayed dry and the show went well. It wasn't that busy but the people/dogs who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are now intending to come to the HWAR show at Brockhampton on the 16 September. We raised approximately £130 which will go towards out vets bills. Thank you to everybody who came and also helped.

26 August 2011 - Car boot sale and Quiz night
The Royal George Inn, Lyonshall, has kindly organised this event with all proceeds being donated to HWAR. There was a great turnout for the quiz (well done to Andy and Lorna for winning). In total they raised £150 which was fantastic. Thank you.
25 July 2012 - Quiz night
The quiz night held at the Nags Head Canon Pyon was a great success and raised £252 for HWAR. A big thank you to Lorna and Andy for organising such a superb event and our appreciation to the landlord and landlady of the pub. There were 14 teams, all the tables were outside in the garden on a warm July evening. Lots of laughter and enjoyment and we are hoping that we will be running another one very soon.
1 July 2012 - Bromyard Dog Show
Thanks to everyone who came along today to help out, sadly due to the weather it was very quiet and we only made a little money. However it was a lovely day and so nice to see some really happy HW dogs with their owners. Everyone who came said they enjoyed themselves and that's the main thing. Very grateful thanks to Neil for being our judge - he did a great job.

2 June 2012 - Jubilee Dog Walk
Jess, one of our great volunteers organised a Jubilee dog walk starting from Breinton Manor Farm Shop. She had mapped out and signed 1, 3 and 5 mile walks, organised a face painter, ran a great tombola and cake stall, organised prized for dog and child fancy dress. Jenny and Liam did a splendid job with bacon butties and teas and coffees. Everybody had a wonderful time. All of he dogs behaved, large and small. Thank you Jess.

13 May 2012 - Pets at Home
Andrea kindly organised an event at Pets at Home in Hereford with the help of lots of other volunteers too. There was a tombola, cake stall, past and present HWAR dogs. It gave us an opportunity to hand out our May newsletter too and use out very special HWAR table!
