KENNEL CLUB CHARITABLE TRUST
Thanks to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust, we were able to clear a large amount of debt accruing on our vet bill. We are very grateful for their donation. They visited us recently, and composed a short video at Hereford & Worcester Animal Rescue, to see our work, and show where their donation is being of benifit. NEW RULINGS REGARDING STRAY DOGS
As from 6th April the police no longer have a responsibility to take in stray dogs, this is now the sole responsibility of your local council. If you are in Herefordshire and find a stray dog please ring the council helpline on 01432 260000, they will then make arrangements for the dog to be collected from you. This service is available out of hours 6.00am - 9.00am and 6.00pm - 10.00pm weekdays and 6.00am - 10.00pm weekends and bank holidays. You should only make contact if you have the dog in your possession. This service is for 'found' dogs only, if you have lost your dog please contact the dog wardens during normal working hours Monday to Friday. Please give a clear and accurate description of the missing dog.
